This expansion broadens the lab’s authorized calibration and test capabilities — reinforcing their commitment to precision, quality, and international credibility.

As a CNAS-accredited laboratory, SHINING 3D’s calibration and test reports are recognized by over 100 countries and regions, thanks to CNAS’s membership in ILAC and APAC mutual recognition agreements.

Standards, Traceability & Technical Rigor
At the heart of the accreditation is strict adherence to measurement standards and traceability:

Their lab conforms to key international norms including VDI/VDE 2634 (Parts 1–3), ISO 10360-12/13, and ISO 20896-1.

We also comply with national calibration and test standards (e.g. JJF 1951-2021, JJF 1859-2020, GB/T 16857.2, GB/T 34890).

All reference standards in use are traceable to national-level metrology institutes.

Internal verification is conducted with high-precision instruments such as coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), laser interferometers, and 2D vision systems.

Since July 2023, SHINING 3D’s Accuracy Laboratory (Accreditation No.: L18674) has been officially recognized by CNAS for its ability to independently conduct dimensional accuracy calibration and testing services.
Over time, the lab has built a strong reputation in critical areas such as measurement volume, traceability, and environmental control, ensuring every process meets international benchmarks.
With the latest scope extension, the lab’s accreditation now covers 3 additional calibration projects and 7 new test items.
This upgrade significantly strengthens SHINING 3D’s end-to-end quality control chain — from R&D all the way to production and manufacturing of its high-precision 3D scanning solutions, reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to accuracy and reliability.

Beyond standalone lab functions, calibration is tightly integrated into SHINING 3D’s product development and manufacturing. Before any scanner is shipped, it undergoes final accuracy verification per VDI/VDE 2634 and ISO 10360 benchmarks, and is issued a full, accredited test report.
