Automatic Head for Grinding/Polishing Machine

The FOBOS-300 Series is an auto head device that allows users to do polishing automatically instead of directly polishing. Individual Force System that applies a set load to each specimen using a pneumatic cylinder, Center Force System that applies the same load to all specimens by applying force to the center of the specimen holder, and Hybrid System that applies two system modes can be selected.

For use with MTDI Grinding/Polishing Machine:

High Speed Automatic Head

This device can combine FOBOS-F series and FOBOS-S series for automatic polishing. (4 types combination: FOBOS-100F, FOBOS-200F, FOBOS-100S and FOBOS-200S)

This device can control to FOBOS-F  series and FOBOS-S series controller, and it can steady polishing by individual type to apply load each specimen

Auto Head System Grinding/Polishing

Pneumatic Cylinder put the force on specimen by Individual or Center force.
Individual system put the force on specimen separately and Center Force put the force on the specimen holder.

User can choose hybrid (Choose both) system also.

• Specimen size (25 ~ 50mm) (For 12” Disc)
• Use the Air Cylinder and Proportional-control Valve for put the force
• Adjust spin direction(CW/CCW)
• Dosing System(Triton) connection available
• Control Polishing time and speed on each stage
• Move Auto Head Up/Down to put specimen on holder easily
• Slow start to protect specimen and machine
• Programmable Spin time, Load, Spin RPM and direction
